Vote us up for mod of the year! I command it as leader of the Alliance.

Once installed you need to find a tab called my games usually under users> your name > my games > Ironclad Games > Sins of a Solar empire rebellion > Mods-Rebellion v1.82 you extract it here. Then launch the game, and under option go to mods, and enable DOTR V .2
For me its
C:\Users\Steven\Documents\my games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.82

I see a lot of people a wondering why there's nothing going on. That is because Sets attention is focussed on SoTP where he's turning out some wonderful work (go check it out). The experience gained from helping out over there can really benefit DOTR so stay patient please. I must admit however my community games haven't been happening due to various reasons, inside and outside of gaming. Before the release of the latest edition of DOTR I was playing a lot of strategy, and I needed a fresh genre. My reasons for outside of gaming is because of various parties, social events and work. Don't fear however, the mod is not dying or dead, just taking a power nap. I will be posting an announcement sometime this month about community games, so please join the steam group for that.
I shall TRY (NO PROMISES) to also get a Dev's vs Fans game one night. Because of time differences and various commitments this may prove difficult, but not impossible.
In unrelated, but community related news. I'm going to continue a Mass Effect 2 save in Mass Effect 3 soon, really liking my FemShep. So if you have Mass Effect 3 for PC and may be interested in playing sometime PM me or add me on Steam: xiShogun

Okay firstly, that didn't make sense you spell like a 'kid' or are one; as you have a distinct inability to string a comprehensible sentence together. Secondly the voting system is a good visual representation of what people agree with. Kyle and myself obviously make good points due to the number of upvotes. So to claim that you are 'right' in the face of adversity is just a reflection of how much of an idiot you are.

I agree with your first point: yes the mod is free and I (and the community) are grateful for that. But when you have a large fan base and downloadable content for the public to consume, you take a responsibility to keep them informed and updated. Especially within the Dawn of the Reapers context. And I can appreciate that modding gets boring, christ if doing the same thing over and over doesn't become boring, then get checked out. My point is; as a community we (strong word inbound)do not feel neglected per say just 'out of the loop' because the devs have not updated us with progress. All it takes is one dev to come onto the mod page and say "Guys sorry for the lack of updates, progress is slow right now but please be patient." Thats all we're asking for, not a full release next week.

I'd also like to say that I'm not slating the mod. Its a fantastic mod, and you can see the passion of the devs in the great models. I love the mod and the concept. I used to host community game nights. I missed parties and going out with friends to host them on a Saturday. However as of recent we do not play as the game has irritating glitches that need to be fixed and to us is repetitive. What I do not like is being called unappreciative of the mod, the devs have had my full support throughout.

I'm not one for rushing release dates or pestering developers (it annoys me) but as a dev group with public content you do have to update your fans with your progress. Tomorrow will mark 4 months since the release, and we've had few screenshots a no patches. I understand that you have your personal lives and its summer and so do we; but it doesn't take 5 minutes to say "Progress is going great" or "Sorry we've had a setback". I personally do not play the mod anymore as the same annoying glitches (fighters & bombers) and the OP of reaper scouts now make it unplayable. I think I speak for most of the community on this issue. Please do not think I am rushing you for a release and I am very much on your side, but you have to update with progress or something.
