Sorry just found your reply in the forums now. I only own the first UT and the 2003 one so haven't played any of the recent ones either. Good games tho! Well I really like the idea of time travel and have been thinking about ways of implementing it into games. Loved the first empire earth game and think theres a diversity and originality of trying to turn it into a shooter! What do you think?

That trailer is fantastic and I can't wait to download this work of art. My only one concern in that trailer was the recoil on the pisol looked a bit too fast.. anyone else think that?

Woah every update always astounds me! This isn't a mod its a professional remake of half-life! Every detail and prop has been customized and i'm lookin forward to the teaser! Give us some crowbarring savage alien kickbutting gameplay footage! :D

Oo I like! The screenshot was taken on firing will there be some kick *** recoil so you feel the power of the spaz!

It doesn't really look like the the light source is being produced my the tubes.. The source looks too... round

So if the combine are in it doesn't that mean that you can use all the hl2 weapons as well as the opposing force ones?

They do look a little fragile compared to the guardsmen

Great mod one criticism would be the terrain. It looks reali plain and really undermines the great models your team are producing. Apart from that this mod really looks great!

I love the screenshots of the temple on Abydos but the walls feel like their missing something.. The steams of light really give it a nice effect but maybe a few cracks and inscriptions on the wall would really bring the feel to the temple.

Anyone have dialup?? We moved into the country and had to loose the broadband and 2 days before moving I bought hl2: ep1 and still haven't got around to downloading and playing it.. that was over 2 years ago! Praise the day when I can actually log into steam using dialup and the bleedin thing will work in offline mode!

Look why the big deal? I'm paying for the game not the chance of a mod being made out of it.. some games didn't support mods but through patches or pure dedication of a team mod support didn't stop them from making one anyway! I bought the half-life series and the game is one of the best i've played and thanks to valve the game is very supportive to modding but i wouldn't have thought twice about buying it if it was crucifying modders on the front because its a great game!

This mod really is first class work when i play most mods you can tell from the quality and feel that theres no way its project could be commercialized for todays gaming industry. This is in no way a jab at the modding community i support it fully modders simply don't have the professionalism or support to build one. Even though this mod is under a great strain to be released your all taking your time to get it right and i respect that because your work really shows the attention to detail that really challenges the source engine well done you've won my vote once again

That is good.. bravo it looks great and its brilliant to see that even though dune is the the past and won't see any new releases its still great to see that its still inspirational

yea a agree with drunkill adding tyre tracks to the snow and snow to the boxes really would separate the snow and add a more winter affect! Also the power lines look cool but their untouched (like the boxs and other objects) by the winter setting, something like icicles hanging down and it actually snowing would really look cool and give it that umph! I have to say tho the runway, models and misty affect all look brilliant bravo to Sharpshootah it really looks like a great fun map..

I've been waiting for yonks for a mod like this to come along.. I have the equipment but im sure you don t just plug everythin in and hope for the best.. no really iv tried! Anyways is there a readme file or ANYTHING like that for this mod yet?

The changes u made this version were really great. I remember the previous version and even tho i heard of the site the layout wasn t great and i ignored it but when u updated the site i loved it! Bottem line u've done a great job with this version and the ideas u have in mind sound great so im sure this next version of moddb will be more fun, more helpfull and certainly more entertaining to browse.
