Ah, ok. I’ll do some research into it, but just so I know, what would be the console command for binding the quick melee. Cos I’m pretty sure there is a “bind” and “doublebind” console command.
Edit: Yep, upon further research, you can in fact double bind, so that means that you could have melee be bound via console to e as well as use - source: Zdoom.org

So how can you use external resources in slad3? Also, could there be a way or could you update it so there is a way to make certain it will spawn Unwilling so I can do the opening areas of Level 1 and 2?

Alright, I’m here to warn you guys - DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS! The mod is really low quality as is, and there are parts of it that are stolen. The combat shotgun is from the Embers of Armageddon mod. When confronted, he acts dumb, but it is stolen, you can talk to the creator of EOA for confirmation. And even if it wasn’t stolen, the rest of the mod is really low quality. It’s effectively a reskin, leaving out almost all the things that make doom eternal unique. Also, the code for the shield on the chain gun is stolen from a mod on Realm667. He will deny it, but it is. Don’t give him credit he doesn’t deserve, don’t download this!

Thanks for the tips. I have noticed one of these, and was going to fix it, then bugs appeared making the mod unplayable. I decided to put the project on hold for a little while as I work on other things like schoolwork and my game.

Don't be too hard on yourself, it looks really neat. Are you gonna model weapons and stuff, cos that'd be sick!
BTW I didn't grow up with these games. I'm 13, I love old games, most of all doom. Just finished my first quake playthrough, it's really cool. Combining these together would work really well. And it does, although what I've personally seen in Doom in idTech 2 and 3, not Quake in idTech 1.

Unfortunately, it will be a little while until I release a new version of the mod. This is because I have decided I am going to take my knowledge from this mod and make my own FPS. Also, while writing the code for version 1.1.4, I encountered a major bug making it impossible to run. I have no idea how to fix this. I may release a new version with the experimental weapons fully implemented with 2 others by March, but no promises.
