What class of ship is this supposed to be once it is finished? Maybe a Trireme? God, I'm so excited to see whole fleets of these!

Even though the team has presented us with an awesome looking game, it is far from complete. Most games aren't even playable in their alpha phase, yet 0 A.D. is. That being said, the lag is being fixed, and many of the game mechanics will change in time as well. So let us all please wait and judge the game once it is properly released. (Which will take a lot of time, sadly.)
I fixed this, but I had to get a save from later on in the game.
There is a save of a character just outside of the mine, on OblivionNexus, in case anyone else encounters this issue.
When I start the game, that is when I fall down the mineshaft, it seems like my character is spawned in an "invisible box". That being said, I can't move anywhere from the starting point which is weird and frustrating.
I know it's none of my business but, I don't think that anyone is keen on scraping years of hard work and development that easily...
Also, the project has many fans already who are happy with the direction the team has taken.
You will probably have to issue a "stand ground" order. For that you need to have the "show advanced options" activated, in the Tools & Options menu.
I hope that Super7700 will find a way to make it less micro-management heavy, but even he he doesn't we can still click the formations button.
I am pretty sure that Dacia is on the list... but as always check on the 0 A.D official forums for more info.
If everything goes to plan, the developers are planning on making an expansion for the game. And having a Germanic/Gothic faction is a sure thing. Along with that, they think about adding the Scythians, then splitting Rome into two factions(wast/east) and so on... Let us hope that the guys at Wildfire Games can manage to do all what they are planning for this great game.
Rome wasn't built in a day, especially the pathfinding of her people...
If you look closely you might see the palisade walls by the farms, which seem to be buildable now.
As always, the progress looks impressive.
As Mythos Ruler kindly stated in a comment below:
Graphical Lag: Try turning off the fancy water and shadows in the in-game options menu.
Other lag: Try only fighting against 1 bot per match. More than 1 bot will lag considerably, especially on non-top-of-the-line systems.
My prayers have been answered.
The game is shaping up pretty fast, and it looks great, the Wildfire team are doing a great job.
These walls sure do look as they could be manned by some soldiers....
Just fantastic.
Your latest video shows wall placing, and it looks fabulous. I would like to ask about the possibility of adding palisade walls to every faction. For example, if I decide to make a forward camp for the Hellenes faction, I can hardly fortify it with stone walls and call it a forward camp. It's just that the models for the palisades are so awesome, it would be a shame not to use them in a greater extent.:Đ
