When being implemented will they effect the balancing of the ship and what not? From what I've read in Hornblower in some chases they run out guns to help with steering and whatnot, although I don't know how accurate Hornblower is.

Oh righto, is that a Brig-Sloop or a Schooner? I'd still try and make her be able to sail upwind quite well and load her with 12 pounders (while 9 pounders would be the realistic size :/) because it'd be quite important to run away from larger ships. Also since the game is set pre 1770's will it be set before or after 1740 when the first real frigates were made?

Well found the problem for me and my friend. The launcher isnt actually moving the files nor launching with them. So I hope you guys can figure it out. But for me now it actually launched. I'll keep you guys updated if there are any more problems.
Yeah I actually had no Great war mod files in my data file, the launcher aint moving them for some reason. I'll try it manually.
I actually have no Great War related mod packs showing in Mod Manager. *edit* Wait a moment didnt see that reply... I'll tell you if the below works.
Not in mod manager. 1 thing is that every time after it crashes it deletes my user.script and I make it again. Although it has nothing in it. And after a launch and crash it is gone..
Does the launcher auto edit the file or not? Just some ideas.
