the mod IS awesome, however recently it just began to crash when the load bar reaches the end and takes me to desktop. I'm trying to figure it out but im no programmer. it started when i change linux os distros, so im backtracking. I do know i always get an unsupported video card pop up when i start the game, so now I have a strange paint design problem all my pain on ships is pixelated any help would be appreciated

its really awesome, I love the streamlined system but the higarans no longer have a frigate equal to the vagyr heavy missile frigate or the artillery frigate, the sniper frigate kept the balance, you could redesign and rename it or come up with something new entirely but the vagyr do have a stronger frigate fleet, and the rank limit on vagyr corvette chassis should be reinstated, they build striker corvettes before higarans have a counter measure.
there are several issues. 1.double kinetic turrets do not have soundfx
2.double kinetic turrets have no icon on the modular cruiser far right modular weapon list, and the range and damage are x and z which is little help to the commander.
I hope you plan on adding planetary colonization as it made complex feel more exciting. so far no real gameplay issues encountered other than the cpu's ability to build without ru's.
I do have some ideas that i can e-mail you guys on cloak, hyperspace and weapons. THX and great job, keep it up!

I love this mod but I run Linux and I have some problems with other versions of complex, so I was wondering if you could cross-platform for a Linux version as well. I have a feeling the next time my video drivers are updated it,l be all over for me and others with the same tech. Anyway keep up the great work! :D

yep.. they probably handicapped automatically depending on the difficulty

If your using linux make sure your vidio cards are supported and try wine 1.6.0

i've been playing these for a long time. and recently with linux complex 9 now crashes when it completes the loading process for a player vs cpu match. i have wine compatibility set for windows XP it wont even start with 7 or vista. can someone help?

Windows is very(very very very...etc) picky, any change of file status, permissions or formats will mess things up.
If you have a Linux machine (with Linux OS) laying around somewhere, you could EXTRACT the files with package manager.

How different is this compared to complex 9.1 (which is awesome)?
I see new ships in the previews, but is there any real change?

The install .exe should work for windows and macintosh, the download indicates Windows, Mac and Linux as platforms for which it should work

Complex 9 is the best thing that happened to Homeworld 2 since it was created
Its too bad its the last update down this line.

On my pc the mod installed fine but the shortcut (not the windows link) came out with the wrong address.
I had to edit the shortcut a remove an extra "\" in between " Homeworld2.exe" -mod Complex91.big -hardwarecursor -overridebigfile"
and it came out "-mod\ Complex91.big -hardwarecursor -overridebigfile"

Oh and the guest saying the same thing is me... I forgot to sign in.. LOL

I would like the new ui for my version of Complex 9, if any can help please do
