I lead a small team of Indie developers who have just finished their first project. I've been having difficulty with marketing, as you can see by the game page on both Gamejolt and itch.io, and I'm just at a loss as to what more I can do.
So I'm here searching for a marketing expert who can help get us out there a bit and get us going.
The game itself is a Demo currently, proof of concept, but we've got big plans for it, and many more projects going forward. The main concept is a revival of good old Stealth/Chase horror, inspired by classic games like Alien Isolation, Amnesia the Dark Descent and Outlast.
It's goal is not only to revive this fast paced, stressful but gratifying style of gameplay but also to combat the stale state of the horror gaming genre right now. No complex theory fodder story, no broken mechanics that get boring and tediously repetitive, just good old fashion slasher horror fun.
We've got a solid plan to get a Kickstarter rolling, and tons of concepts to bring to life in a full version. We just need some help getting out there and gathering an audience.
