is it just me or do these look like knock-off off-brand plastic Abrams toys?
Points for style on the lighting though, the DPRK sure knows how to stage a show.
Looks more like a Type-96 derivative IMO.
Abrams meets Chieftain meets Leopard 1, maybe with a little Merkava thrown in for flavor?
I was thinking it may have started life as some sort of T-62 or maybe a Type-59 guessing from the round turret hidden beneath the added armor cheeks, but the driver position is wrong for that. So it's a weird one, the rubberized track and the cheek styling is non-traditional for Soviet/Communist bloc tanks. idk maybe the rubberized track is just a special parade track so they don't rip up the road.
