Hmm. i don't really understand that sentence.
They're two separate sentences dude. The first pic shows: "the tech that you expect" and the second: "What you get." :P Get it?
oh yes lol.
You'd think a tank is all about the glass cockpits and LED screens and stuff nowadays, but most tanks in service stil use plain old gun sights and switches.
They still work mind you, just not as shiny as the newer stuff.

Am I the only one who prefer good old mechanical stuff then hi-tec computers when it comes to war machines?
Well, computer makes the hard part of aiming in case of tanks. In case of planes computers are necessary. Only in infantry warfare, as basic infantry weapon something relatively cheap, solid and easy to use is the best.
I'd prefer computers any day.
I think rkraptor not meant what he would prefer to use in a full blown battle, just which type of marvels of engineering he prefer. And I agree, war machines (and all machines mind you) is much more interesting with gears and stuff then with a boring computer.
i think old gunsights are better. and manual aiming is far more accurate of course.
the tanks of this era are not as good looking as the panzer iv the tiger and panther or the king tiger T34-85 and IS2 too but i guess they do the job better.
I think its better to have a balance between the two technology makes the world a better place... yes but it also makes people lazy when they over rely to it maybe that's why there is no tank aces these days (or maybe they are already killed by the same tech like missiles and ****)the only thing I would do on that kind of cockpit is watching porn LOL
