The random hatch on the side of the turret, did they actually have that?
It's an escape hatch that doubled as a way to throw spent shells out of the turret. Most large German tanks had the same hatch, just located on the back of the turret rather than the side.
Yeah as integral said, most Germans tanks had them.

Most likely it is a Neubaufahrzeug (Nb.Fz). We had images of him before. Classified as heavy tank with 3 turrets, but it was used more for propaganda purposes. They created only 5 tanks or so.
