Can't see any download sizes on the profile page (checked Conquest: Divide and Conquer) and wouldn't the different builds (demo, HiB version, linux version, windows version, etc) be different sizes? Mind you if you don't like the download size you can just cancel (or pause?) it after it starts. -- Running Desura on Linux Mint 11 (x64) - Core i7/920, ASUS Sabertooth X58 MB, Gigabyte GTX 570 & 12 GB Ram. |

@toon_: keeping the size in a separate info field in a db isn't too good of an idea - Steam does this, and it sucks, cause they put it there once and never update it. Quick example: Left4Dead 2 shows as 8 GB in the dialog window, which was true once then the game was new, but now after n+ updates it actually downloads 13 GB. |

This is an absolutely critical feature, especially with the modern prevelance of comparitively small SSDs. I was rather shocked at its omission. Edited by: Guhndahb |

Not only due to SSD's but alot of ppl are on limited bandwith per month and or are using mobile / roaming 3G / 4G usb devices and cannot afford to say download a 2GB install and would be better off knowing this prior then being able to say ok i will wait till i get home as it is x amount of Megabytes / gigabytes etc. Also for those like myself who want to estimate how long the download will tie them down for prior to downloading it, i hope this is added sooner rather than later. |

It's nearing 2 years since the request for this feature was added, is there any plan to adding it at all? (Besides the moment when you're downloading a game) |

Yeah it would be a really handy feature to have. |
