Hi!

Have a 'small' problem with Project Zomboid Alpha (64bit).
When i start the game i get this error:
klik me!

Here is the wat the terminal says...
Pastebin.com

I am using Linux mint 11 64 bit

The strange thing is that the demo worked just fine ;)

Can someone please help me ?
thanks! :D

I have the same problem...here's a thread about it on the Zomboid forums:
Theindiestone.com

Someone suggested using the unofficial Linux launcher here:

Sorry, that's all I've got. :/ I guess this is just a result of the game still being in Alpha. I'm sure they'll fix it.

I sent the one of the developers an email:

"Howdy, just purchased your game on Desura after trying out the demo (loved it :D) however the game doesn't start. Seems this is a common issue with forum reports on theindiestone (here) and Desura (here and here). Can you please advise if this is being looked into or any ETA for a fix? I'm eager to start my Project Zomboid adventures :DRegards,
Zarius."

Haven't heard back yet.

I picked up this game last night and from going through the hassles, yes, you have to rename that file as posted in the linked thread, it will then run.

As for the story mode, atm it doesn't work but should be fixed up by next update. The sandbox mode does work though and can keep you entertained while waiting. ;)

Well I'm interested in the story side of things so eagerly awaiting their fix :D
