Allow modding for games from Origin Thread - Desura

I Have all the games in the Command & Conquer series installed on Origin (Origin sucks, don't use it ) and I wanted to install some mods on some of them.
Turns out that Origin ignores the mod and starts the vanilla game when I run the mod.
I then installed Desura thinking "Hm, maybe I can start the mod through Desura and it will work".
Turns out that doesn't work either, so I wonder if it is possible to add a feature that allows you to fix this Origin-related issue.
Is it possible?

Not really a Origin-related issue, more like Origin-related bullshit...
