Worth a read: Indiegamemag.com

I posted a comment there, which basically sums up my opinion:

"Whilst Michael Brough has some good points there, he seems to be completely missing the fact that not everyone has a high enough disposable income to be able to justify always paying full-price for games.

Indie games don't have a used market, they tend to not drop in price over time, almost all are digital-only, etc. Some of the many reasons why bundles and sales have become so popular. (And just how financially successful/popular were the indie game makers of old, before bundles etc came along?)

The anti-sale arguments remind me of the big publisher's anti-used game market arguments, and they are just as equally flawed."

Recent Jimquisition that put it a lot better (though regarding big publisher games):

Fun in the comments there at the moment. You can see my "entitled" replies over there.

Just something worth noting too: if you bother to comment on any of Indie Game Mag's articles, expect Indie Game Mag to retweet insults directed at you.

I've pretty much lost all respect for IGM for trolling for clicks like that, and stupid me - I fed them.
