Description
After about a year of drawing nothing and a month of studying nude pictures (both anime-art and real-life), I have finally made another sketch, and with a different approach to defining the body. For the first time since I started drawing four years ago, I have used shadows and lines together to define the drawing, as opposed to my older approach of using lines only.
Please give me your thoughts. (And Classic Zuro style, eh? Wide heads.... why do I love to draw wide heads?)
We should be able to see both the other arm and leg. At least the other leg. From that angle, it looks like her other leg is pretty stretched out while the other leg, the one we can see, is the opposite. A pretty uncomfortable position if you ask me.
The shadowing is very well done though and the drawing in whole. I'm not a drawing expert or critic but that's what I think ;)
Her leg also looks short IMO. Like, really short.
But all in all, She's freakin' adorable!!

I agree-- her leg does look a bit wierd. Definitely gonna work on that on my next drawing.
