O Btw, I did notice the jaw being weirdly off under the ear.

There are some things about this that are actually quite good. Your wrinkle flows and fine details are very well done. If we start from top to bottom we eventually run into issues with the larger defining details however. The eyes are good. Maybe a little small for the head but properly spaced and well formed. The nose is a bit too large for the face but would fit if the lower half of the face were better. The cheek bones are way too low. The process (the raised areas of bone we can visibly see) are much higher and show just below the eyes. I know if you feel your face this seems counter-intuitive to the structure you can feel but it is much more physically accurate. The mouth is way too wide, our mouths tend to end at about the middle of our eyes, the corners aligned with our pupils, but your model here has lips that stretch to nearly the outside corners of his eyes. His chin seems to sink in rather than jut out, either that or it is just sitting way too low. The fatty portion of our lower lip tends to rest on the chin and is much larger than most people realize. His low jaw bone sticks out way too much on the sides and have a weird angular sharpness that makes his whole lower face way too sharp. The chin width should relatively match the mouth width and, especially considering he is supposed to be aged, the overall shape of the lower jaw portion should be much rounder with fatty deposits and excess skin brought down through time and gravity. Ears look fantastic btw. This is a good start and especially so for your first human face. With some time and practice I believe you will make an excellent digital sculptor. Would like to see a profile view to understand the depth of the face better and would allow for a bit more critique I'm sure.

Wow, Thank you this helped a lot. It looks like that because I didn't have the time to fix the mouth, it seems like it goes past the eyes, but it was suppose to be the wrinkles, the mouth ends to where you said it should be. The hardest parts were the eyes and the ears for me and surprisingly you think it looks good which is awesome that you think that hehe. The jaw bone was obvious around the sides, and I will also add a aged effect to the chin. I was going to leave the model as is but you've encouraged me to finish it up so thanks and I'll post a new picture in a couple days or so. Thanks again :D

We are here as a community as artists. Artists are never fully accomplished, we can always improve, always grow and always evolve. Helping fellow artists to improve themselves by sharing what knowledge you do have is part of the honor and should be a valid requirement in being considered an artist. If you ever see a comment like "This sucks, you are horrible" then that person should not ever be considered as anything less than the scum you scrape off the bottom of your boot. I do appreciate your appreciation but I do it for the craft and the respect I have for other artists. Even Picasso had to start somewhere.

Haha, well Prof, whether you understand his art or not there is no denying his work and what it did for the concepts of modern art. It is all a matter of a taste, but because he may not seem to be to you on the precipice of artistic ability doesn't de-value his influence on the art world.

I understand it not a lot into modern art thought the talent doesn't seems to be there so much as other art styles however i do know Picasso is widely regarded as a top artist and definitely forefront figure of modern art :D i just think its not that great xD.(Thus proves i know a bit about art)

Agreeable enough, though artistic ability can be measured in various forms, and composition and color theory are two very important forms. If you don't have either of those then even good art can look like crap, and that is what modern art is best known for is interesting but definable compositions and a precise choice of color variations to display a mood. Basically, not about the figure but about the feeling. I feel there's a lot of talent and practice that goes into creating something as such. But that's just my opinions verse yours and each is entitled to their own. I think we're off the beaten path here, haha. (For the record I don't like modern art much either, but I can appreciate peoples individual talents)

Description

So I've been trying to practice at my modeling skills and since I heard that a lot of modelers try to sculpt older individuals I tested it out my self. 22 Millions polys (Really only about 6 million is actually sculpted on which is the face) and about 5 hours of work. And please don't hold back on criticism, I know a lot of things aren't perfect but still comment and tell me what you think looks off, wrong, or just terrible. This would be my first human face I made.
