Hi. Are the steam keys on the giveway just for the DEMO which we can already get it for FREE on Steam??? Or the keys can unlock the actual game?
It sounds like it, in which case this is a slap in the face to other devs that actually give away their games
Giving away Demo keys is very common, I have seen it on both indiedb and Alienwarearena. If you are only looking for a +1, then the demo key does not make sense. As I have explained in the description, our full game only supports Chinese while the Demo has been updated English support, so we chose to give away Demo keys at this moment.
It happens on other sites sure but it's not common at all on here, they even have a few paragraphs on this site about how this is like free front page advertising in exchange for giving away some copies of your game ( Indiedb.com ). Here you've given away effectively nothing for front page advertisement which is unfair for devs that actually give away their game, which is undoubtedly the majority on this site. Searching "demo" in the giveaway section shows yours to be the only demo given away on here in the giveaways section
If you just search for demo that's actually it because I added in the title because some misunderstandings were caused before, actually most of the indiedb giveaways are just the default title.
If you think it really does something for us, you can check out the stats page for just a few dozen visits. So back to the fundamental question why would we should give away a full game that doesn't currently support English?

Hi, we are giving away demo keys at this moment only because our full game does not support English and we have updated the demo English support. If you're wondering, the only difference is that when we choose to remove the demo, you can still access the demo through key activation.
