Yokai is an old school platformer, for PC, Windows. And like the good old platform games, we are trying to deliver a fun and entertaining experience through simple, yet addictive gameplay mechanics. Right now, the game is in a very early stage of development, but we will release a public alpha demo soon enough, to get some feedback from the public, and for advertising purposes, since we are a fresh new indie studio in great need of investors. The game itself, will be released in four chapters. Each chapter will contain three stages composed by two levels plus boss level.
Comparison between the previous and the current animations.
To be honest, I really can't notice much of a difference between the early and current build animations.
really? i can notice the difference. they are pretty subtle changes i guess though.. they were good as they were but even the less noticeable tweaks in the video do make a pretty big difference as far as making things a bit smoother and animated.. as in lively.. at least to me..
all the movements look good, i just think the start/stop is a little choppy (im kind of a freakish perfectionist, plz don't be offended)
