Xenonauts is a PC strategy game due for release in 2013. It is a spiritual successor to the classic X-Com strategy games, putting the player in control of an organisation defending the world from an alien invasion. It is a grand strategy game that involves building and managing bases across the entire planet, controlling jet fighters and ground troops in battle against the alien forces, then researching captured extraterrestrial technology to unlock their secrets! Linux version uses WINE.
This is the screen where you choose the weapons to equip your vehicles with. This Hunter armoured car is armed with machineguns, but it can also be armed with rockets (and more advanced technology such as lasers as you research them). Selecting different weapons updates the image (see the different image for the rocket Hunter in the bottom left).
The rocket launcher weapon image on the right is just a placeholder. There will be 7 different human vehicles in the game to take into battle.
where are catterpilars? where are lasers? where is granade launcher? where is bushmaster or gatling gun? where is m60?
Why don't you make your own game if you dislike this one so much? As the description states, there will be 7 different vehicles to use, which is more variety than the original (5 if I remember correctly). That sounds like plenty to choose from, expecially since the focus is really more on the soldiers than the HWP.
Yeah. Don't know why the unreasonable demands. I actually felt a ting of dissappointment when I, against my own policy of no self-spoiling, decided to check out the UFOpaedia (the internet wiki, of course) to see just what I was dealing with in terms of researchable technology in X-COM: UFO Defense. This is just righteous. I can see myself getting endeared to this particular humble chariot though, haha.
