We are happy to announce, that we won Game Jam Prague 2012, part of the Global Game Jam competition, where you have to create a full game in 48 hours (using only your resources). The event itself was great and all teams have created some pretty neat games. More photos and detail information of this event can be found on www.infinityleaks.com or you can check out the official
The game we´ve created there is called Guardian. It´s a logical, puzzle based, platformer in various
environments. To use the given theme for the game (which was this picture below) we have created
three levels that are played in four different seasons which makes it 12 levels in total. In every season is different environment and puzzles get more and more challenging as player progresses through the game. Puzzles are based of mechanic of moving boxes. The main character is a magician and can transport the boxes around the level to achieve his goal of getting to the other side of the map. You have to overcome obstacles as spikes, deadly fluids and doors. The current version can be downloaded here. For other games and more information please visit www.infinityleaks.com.
We´d like to hear any feedback on the same site and will try to solve any troubles within the game ASAP. However, please bear in mind that the game was created in 48hours and is not our top priority, so any major changes are not likely to happen.
We would like to thank you for your support and promise that we are going to focus on Wastelands
now. Also big thanks to people who helped us with technical difficulties (such as transportation) and made this for us possible.
