We have issues on the laptop deploying our build.

Post issues here, with the make, model, and graphics card of your laptop.

Not all laptops apparently, mine run the demo just fine.

@ArchonPC : would appreciate your make and model please. Trying to catalog all shader versions that we are not hitting.

Seems some laptops have terrible shader APIs.

OK, then:
Asus laptop / 4 GB RAM / Windows Vista 32-bit / GeForce 9300M GS 512 Mo with nVidia 285.62 drivers.

Not a recent nor powerful one, but it work

The tech demo works quite well on my System76 laptop, 4GB RAM / Ubuntu 12.04LTS / Intel HD4000 / Quad Core i7 2.3GHz

It did crash, though, just about when I was deciding to quit (by the way, I have almost no idea how it is supposed to work, and kept having to peek at the youtube videos playing on a second computer...).
