nice! remember, count in tris, not poly
what's tirs?
triangles
@fudrucker5 It is what you need to convert your models into.
You need to count the tris. If you're using blender go to edit mode and select all, then go to the bar at the bottom of the 3D window and Mesh>Faces>Convert quads to triangles
Or just select the whole model by pressing "A" then ctrl+t.
thanks, iwannakill
I use 3ds max and max shows the polycount counted in tris, but labeled as polys and sometimes as "faces". So the polycount I wrote is correct.
I changed my mind on my comment and I couldn't delete this, so yeah
converting my models to tris just made things worse! whats the point of adding more polys to the model by converting it to tris?
Because Quake uses tris not polys. You have to convert it.

AK-47 with a minimum of polys. Currently, the polycount is around 150 Polys, so theres place for a few more details.
