Universal Contingency is a top-down space Sci-Fi RPG for Windows PC. It is the turn of the century in the year 2200, and there is civil unrest amongst the stars. The galaxy is on the verge of a full-blown war between the oppressive ruling power--the Aesir Dominion--and the opposing forces known as the holy Empyrean Order. The Order seeks ascension in order to establish a republic in the name of The Divine, while the Dominion only seeks utter supremacy of the galaxy. Enter the role of an ordinary civilian, and choose your path. Be a silver-tongued merchant in charge of a trade empire, an industrious miner searching through space for precious metals and minerals, a craftsman or shipbuilder, a ravaging Crimson Wolf pirate, a freelance mercenary, or join one of the two military factions and fight to achieve domination of the galaxy... the options are nigh-limitless, and players are not limited to a single path.
