Description
Here is a screenshot of a less screen filling way of knowing the status of your teammates. Simply look at your teammate to see their health and items

That is going to be a bit hard to see when there are zombies everywhere. But it cool however!
You have too look at them in order to get that info, while fighting a horde you really cant do much about your team mates until after the horde has been defeated
in that case i hope the survivors wont constantly get in your way because it might get annoying having the health bars pop up every time your cross-hairs touch a character. why cant you just put them at the bottom of the screen like in L4D?

Will the status bar possibly fade out when not looking at a teammate directly? I feel it might take away from some of the "feeling" seeing a health box in front of the charactor 24/7.
Correct, you ONLY get that information by look at the ally you wish to see stats about
