Description

Tiny Bird Garden is a “bird collecting game” where the player customizes a garden space for birds to visit and enjoy. With 100+ Tiny Bird characters in the game, each with their own favorites and heart level, the player can opt to give their feathered visitors, hats, treats, and a variety of toys for play time. Our game relies on elements from the simulation genre—birds will stop in and leave in real time, if the player is there or not, based on whether or not food and toys are available to them. Players can also raise Baby Tiny Birds—our take on Virtual Pet style game play. Feed the baby different stars to change their colors—they’ll keep their baby colors when they grow up and join the main roster of Tiny Birds! You can also meet some helpful human characters who provide tips, advice, casual conversation… and bird jokes, if you’re into that kind of thing! Tiny Bird Garden Deluxe includes Story Mode—a twelve chapter, visual novel style story, as well as Five Exclusive Mini Games—like our Tiny Bird Puzzle Game—and endless matching game.

History

Super Retro Duck is an independent game developer—we’re only two people! Everything from the programming, artwork, music, everything, it’s all just the two of us, chasing after our dream of making games together.

Super Retro Duck was formally established in October of 2016, and Tiny Bird Garden is our debut title.

Tiny Bird Garden was a concept born from a love of games like Hit-Point’s Neko Atsume, Skillshot Labs’ Notice Me Senpai, and Nintendo’s Animal Crossing. The development team—illustrator/musician Daisy Ein and pixel artist/programmer Zap Layden—have a particular fondness for birds and bird watching.
