Play the 2D puzzle platformer game inspired by Portal which started off as a popular little jam entry and has since blossomed into the 30 level reality-defying monstrosity that it has become. Coming in 2018 to Steam and Xbox One on July 31st at midnight EST. It will be featured in the Summer Spotlight promotion on Xbox Live.
History
The original Z Axis was a Ludum Dare #38 jam entry. It was ranked 27th in the Fun catagory and 133rd overall out of almost 3000 entries. Considering it was my first ever game jam, and the fact I only had 2 days to finish it (I had to work the 3rd day of the jam), I was pretty pleased with the results.
My friends casually refer to it as "a 2D Portal mixed with some Super Meat Boy." I love both the Portal games and SMB so it was a blast adding so many more levels and puzzle mechanics and seeing what I could do with it all, and that became The Z Axis: Continuum.
This game is made entirely by one person.
