Tenshu General is a casual strategy game with a board game look and feel. Set in the time of the samurai in early Japan, players control a Tenshu castle from where they rule their land. Moving their armies from province to province they try to close in on the enemy’s Tenshu and destroy it. Tenshu General mixes traditional Risk and Stratego elements with RTS mechanics, in which the player has to define a strategy based on deduction and tactical skills. She can play against human like opponents which can have different characters and play style such as opportunistic, defensive, casual or Gung-Ho.

Game looks interesting. I have three questions:
1) How many maps does it come with?
2) Is there a manual? I am unsure, for example, of what part the Advisor plays.
3) Are there difficulty settings?
Thank You

Hi!

About your questions:
1) The game comes with 6 maps, each of which can be played from different starting points. There are between 1 and 3 opponents on each map
2) There is an in game help that explainsall the core concepts and provides some additional tips. The adviser gives you a production bonus in a single province.
3) All the maps can be played at three different game speeds. Also the maps themselfs differ in complexity, building up from simple.

Cheers,
Casper
