I have an idea, more as an event for when the game and NG are actually released rather than something to contribute. I'll keep it short though. Basically, another server is created and the main one is locked - the main one being taken over by the "Game Master" (like the beginning of SAO). Rather than a user dying when they're killed in-game, they are sent out of the locked server and put into the other. This goes for logging out as well, unless the player logs out in an accommodation (mainly due to school etc). Any items gained within the locked server is removed upon death - it's up to the developers if they want the players to keep their items and stats when killed. Once 100 floors are completed (or if the GM is defeated, whichever way the devs want to go), the server is unlocked and the two servers merge to become one again.

My idea is, weekly tournaments held on different floors. Tournaments can include beginner, intermediate, and advanced players(1 tournament for each difficulty). There should be rewards for the champion aswell as the runner ups. The tournaments should be presented as a fun activity where players can interact, make new friends, and battle.

My idea is to make a individual clearing system. This means that everyone needs to clear the end floor dungeon, but you can only clear it once. This is so that low level players can't be carried trough the floors by higher level players. Once you cleared the boss you can redo it however for the loot, but you can't sell the loot you get in the re-runs, so it's more for the cosmetics. With this individual clearing system you can have players who just clear floors with random people and it also makes guild movement clearing more appealing.

This can not work due to some of the mechanics in SAO. After each boss is killed there is a final hit bonus and then the boss's rewards are sent. Also in the town of beginnings there is a wall that has all the players name in it for every person who kills the boss. There are many things that your idea would mess up so we cannot do it but it would've been a good idea. If I'm not mistaken we are going to make the bosses respawn every month or two months. Still not sure of that.

The Problem with that idea is that just like the anime the bosses are going to be totally OP and it will take a fairly large group to take out bosses with minimal casualties, which in this game is very important. If it were Inividual clearing system some people could get left out of the fight then be doomed to fight as a solo until he could catch up lol

I like Yunkvubfui's idea with the boss respawning but having the first people to kill it on the wall, but wouldn't having a singleplayer/offline mode kind of remove the MMO part of it?

That's not an idea, but even if the NerveGear doesn't get invented then the developers could consider making it a PC based game instead.

how about making the bought house as a storage and can be retrieved back by the player after they get killed? just a suggestion and keep up the great work, you guys!

I had suggestion. This is actually my friend's idea on everything and I'm just the artist. How about making 2 Nagita swords that can turn into a bow by attached and a string is taken from one point of one of the Nagita swords. when the Nagita sword is used by itself, since the holder is too short, the shealth is used to be the real holder. This was named by friend as the Oak Stalker.oak stalker

What I would like to see, is something like a time race, for example : if you complete the first 10 floors solo in a limited amount of time like 10 or 20 hours, you get a rare/legendary item drop. (Bosses included)

I could be wrong, but from looking at the wiki I think it took them nearly a month to complete the first floor. It was probably shorter than that, so I think the legendary drop could be within the first week of arriving on the floor.

BUUT I looked back at the wiki and if you exclude the time it would take to level up and get a good enough skill level on your weapon then you're right, 1-2 hours is good enough. :D

Maybe they can make it so that you have to be a certain level to participate in the time trials.
For example :
floor 1 to 10 = lvl 30
floor 10 to 20 = lvl 40
floor 20 to 30 = lvl 50
etc.

Yeah, but- SPOILER UNLESS YOU'RE WATCHING SUBBED(not a mega one though, but it could be classed)- she's in Alfiem now after GGO.
