SurviveRL (working title) is NOT another survival first person game. Read on please. It is a concept where the world persists around the player. Actions have cause and effect. Killing an enemy, helping a creature can generate an outcome much later in the game. Multiplayer and modding support are part of the building blocks to the code, making for replayability and extensibility. There will be a single player campaign/story mode also.

Yes, this is a screenshot from inside the game. I don't think the game can remain much of a RL as it was previously, with its ASCII graphics. People seemed to want more immersion, and it was a choice I decided to take to move over to a proper 3D landscape. It doesn't follow the Berlin convention anymore, but a few fellow RL coders gave me insight that its quite irrelevant lately, and there are a few RL on Steam that arent quite in the genre as we presume, but a richer graphic display.
But are you going to remove features from the old ascii version?
Not unless necessary. We hope to keep the game as close to the summary as possible. Turn based movement might need to be removed, due to the nature of the 3D client being immersive and realtime.
