An easy way to see the full force of a highwaymen base is firstly save often. Once you have found one save just befor your too close to it, and reload that save. Then go back to home base and drop off all of your gold except for 1 piece. Then return to the highwaymen base, and say "I dont want any trouble, take my gold." You are now neutral to that base and can wander freely through it and all it cost you was 1 gold piece |

Or you could just store it in a wrecked car nearby, or someone else who won't be the one getting shaked down. |

Yeah didn't think about that, just give your gold to one of your other party members. lol so much more simple. Still dont know if you can try to recuite the entire group afterwards though. Would be awsome if you can. -----Days Later----- Turns out that after makeing them neutral by allowing them to rob one of your survivors you can eventually make friends with them and recruite them. However I did this while cheating so I could just give myself whatever gifts I needed and give them gold so I could trade with them to gain some respect. It may be posible to do it without cheating but it would take a long, long time to do it. Because you would need more gifts than are on the entire map, so you would have to wait til you loot the gifts you need for each person off the horde spawns befor you would have enough gifts to get the approval. As for the respect, I dont even know, you can only get a maximum of like 10 points for killing zombies in thier presence, and they dont have enough gold on them to trade with to get any good amount of respect. You should be able to challenge each of them to Fisticuffs to gain some respect but that option is not there either. I'm hoping Bob will fix some of these issues eventually, but I haven't recieved a single response from Bob to any of my posts since I started posting threads, so I dont know. Some of the looters can be challenged for fisticuffs, but not all of them. |
