Super Mega Bob is a reflection of my childhood – an awesome childhood fueled by games like Mega Man, The Legend of Zelda, Adventures of Lolo, and Kirby! A 16-bit style 2D shooter filled with enemies, levels, upgrades, and awesome bosses, Super Mega Bob is a combination of all the stuff that make classic games so rockin’ along with some newer concepts that help gameplay seem completely smooth. Super Mega Bob Beta has been upgraded again, this time adding a brand new boss battle and forever solving saved data problems.

Let me start with the bad news - getting this update will yet again erase all of your saved data in Super Mega Bob. The good news? That's the last time it will happen!!

Super Mega Bob 0.2.2 introduces a new boss called the "Box of Pain" (original, I know). I had a lot of fun making this guy, mostly because I love geometric shapes and it was awesome to make a boss that spawns more enemies. I plan to use that mechanic a good bit in SMB, just because it makes gameplay devilishly hard. And we want hard!

Sadly, I haven't been able to add much more than that to this update for Super Mega Bob. But I'm working hard on what I think I'll go ahead and declare to be Beta 0.3, which is going to bring a whole new biome to the game and add even more amazing features and content. My goal is to have that complete no later than mid-April.
