Open source racing game with a track editor. It focuses on closed rally tracks with possible stunt elements (jumps, loops, pipes). You can drive in Single-Player mode racing against the clock or completing championships. There is also an online Multi-Player mode.
Stunt Rally 2.1 is released and after neglecting to update Desura for too long, it's now also available here. For some pretty pictures, visit the gallery at Picasaweb.google.com
The changelog for this one is the longest ever! You can check it out in full at Code.google.com (there are also the changes from previous releases that were not uploaded to Desura).
Contentwise, there's lots of new tracks and cars. The most awesome gameplay additions in my opinion are a prerecorded ghost on all tracks, a beam to guide you to the next checkpoint and a first version of a car damage system. On the graphical side, brake lights now have flares, there's an adaptive FOV effect when boosting and the GUI has received some improvements. Under the hood we have a new input implementation and simulation tweaks and then there's numerous editor improvements, bug fixes and whatnot.
Feel free to take it for a spin and give feedback so that we can make the next version even better.

It works! Great thanks. Amazing game and gaphics
Great game, but don't open on my PC.
good graphic. but not my favorite game. :-)
Great game, the only thing that ****** me of from time to time is that when moving slow, every car seems to have the turning radius of a road train. The tack rating (easy, medium etc.) seems to be way off as well, but maybe that's just me. Still, great fun to play!
Game has been working perfectly for some time, however, my computer had to restart today and somehow that messed up the name of the controls that I used to play this game with my xbox360 controller. Now it won't let me bind accelerate with the right trigger and brake with the left trigger because the game thinks they are both the same control now. It marked them as different controls yesterday so I don't know why it is doing this now.
Anyone know of a solution? Tried restarting the computer and that didn't work.
Great game, Also if anybody wants to play with me i can run a server, just PM me, one thing is multiplayer needs more work,if they have high ping they kinda move jaggedly, that can use work
i will if you want ?
Not rating the game yet, I haven't had the chance to play it enough yet, but the physics seem a little wonky.
giving this a 10 from what i saw. the cars look very nice and almost xbox quality.
however this needs a higher end machine then what im on so i could barely play lol
other than the low framerate caused by my older machine this looks epic and i hope it continues to be developed
