Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a free 3D Sonic the Hedgehog fan-game built on a heavily modified fork of the Doom Legacy source port of Doom. It is closely inspired by the original Sonic games from the Sega Genesis, and attempts to recreate their classic design in 3D with robust multiplayer and mod support.

Sonic Robo Blast 2 started in March 1998 as a Klik-N-Play game before moving to the DooM engine, and is still alive and kicking with a large, thriving community. The game remains in active development, and to celebrate the anniversary of its genesis we've made this trailer to show you a little bit of what's next. While the content of this video is currently up to date, things can and will change before release.
