I have the full version of the game.
I verified the Desura files.

There is nothing in the ErrorLogs Folder.

I get the error with the Desura version and the exe installer.

A "settings.xml" file with my settings is in the root directory of the game.
I just played the first mission, my game progress is saved, but not my settings.

So you were able to play and complete the first level? When exactly are you seeing the error message pop up?

Yes, no problem.

Directly when I start the game, respectively when I see the first screen.

Would you mind emailing me your settings.xml and your playerData.sav file? We will test them here on our side and see if there is an error loading your settings.

After looking at your settings.xml file, it looks like this is another parsing issue due to Windows regional settings in European countries. We are currently testing an update and will submit it to Desura once everything is verified. Thanks for the information and the help.

The update v1.02 that fixes this issue is now live.
