Here is a detailed changelog:

• Revised backgrounds, the old ones have been to red and of a too low resolution. Hope you like the new ones. It is harder than I thought to make cool looking backgrounds :D.
• Cleaned up game assets and canned some rather unnoticeable assets like the animated stars and the sun that was hidden behind the small planet. The reason was that the animation was ugly, so I rather removed it completely.
• A new enemy! Those little creepers gonna be nasty!
• Decreased the enemy spawn rate at earlier waves a bit
• Fixed a few typos
• Cleaned up objects
• Cleaned up rmAction. The small planets in the background did not do their job well imho.
• Added Gamepad support for the whole game
  • Added Gamepad button images
  • Gamepads are only detected once on startup and when pressing escape in the game (when fighting).
• Added Keyboard selection support for the perk menu

Download the file and install it. Make sure you uninstall the old version first.

The keybindings for keyboard users did not change. If you own a joystick or a gamepad, you might use any windows compatible device with the game. However, the controls have been designed with a XBOX or Logitech F-Series controller in mind.
Here are the bindings:

POV-Hat / DPAD - Navigate menus
Left Stick - Move ship
A - Confirm/Shoot
B - Back/Shoot special weapon
X - Switch between normal fire and triple shot
RB - Open perk menu if a perk point is available
Start - Pause the game
