Almost done designing a set of power-ups for the game,the original design for now is that once you get a power-up it will stay with you until you die, but since the average lifespan of a life lies around the 40 second mark, power-ups might last too long or too short on some cases.
So the idea is to test this power-ups see if they break the game, or maybe just skip them all and do them as perks instead, making every player a little more personal and specialized instead of everybody being equal.
On one hand it gives more choices to what type of play-style a player may want to play, on the other everyone is pretty much on the same level and being the first to getting power-ups helps will give you the advantage over the other players and make you a bigger target.
Well only testing will tell what the right choice is, maybe even a combination of both but i fear that it might be too much with both and make the game too chaotic removing any strategy of it.
