Over the past week I've been working on a number of updates for the game, from flaming torches to large watery worlds to a level of detail editor tool! You can check out of this week's updates in the devlog video below, and don't forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel for weekly updates!
This week's updates:
- Finished Entity Editor: The Entity Editor tool is now complete, with the light component being added this week, which allows the user to choose and edit the light emitting properties of an entity.
- Oceans: I was doing a bit of testing with water this week to see how the performance of the game held up when I filled the whole world with water. And it turned out to be fine, so you can look forward to seeing oceans and seas in the game in the near future!
- Improved OBJ Parser: Texture seams are now supported by the OBJ model loader, and can be rendered properly in game.
