Hey people!
I´ve come to the point where i can show you my forecast for the new version.
The new version will be a major upgrade to previous version. It will be a milestone release (hopefully). Thus the release will be around the end of summer/beginnig of fall.
Now here are the new features i´m working on:
-Account System:
You can now create an account in order to save you states and keep track of your progress
-Killstreaks:
You will get special rewards for killing in a row without dying (No Gravity, No Recoil, Unlimited Mode)
-New Gamemodes:
This will feature new Gameplay mechanics, such as Capture the Relais, Save the Generator and much more (More details about Gamemodes later)
-Achievements:
Self explanatory
-Rank Mode/Fun Mode:
This feature will come together with the Login System. This means if you want to play without registering, then you can play the Fun Mode. If you want to keep track of your Achievements,Kills, etc. then you´ll have to register and play in Rank Mode
-New Maps/Enhanced Musicsystem/Enhanced Graphic:
There is a music system in 0.9b, but it´s very rough. I also really hope to find a modeller/leveldesigner to enhance the graphics
-Chapter 1 of the Story Mode:
I really hope to finish the first Chapter of the Story Mode. I´ll finish at least the first Mission
-Better Menu:
The minimalistic Menu will be replaced with a normal menu with Settigs and everything
-New Sound Library:
I will switch from DirectSound to OpenAL which will allow me to apply effects on sounds
-New UI:
Will be redesigned
-Better LAN Support:
LAN Serverlists and so on
-Bot Support:
Bots can also be added to a multiplayer match
-Tons of bugfixes:
Also self explanatory
