This is a screenshot of how the party menu is currently laid out, from here you'll be able to see who's in your party (they'll have stars on their photo) and add/remove them from your current party.
Note: the character images aren't the official artwork, they're borrowed from another game as placeholder images until I have artwork for the story characters
