I'm not familiar with grand strategy games. So without a detailed in-game tutorial there's no way new players will be interessed to dedicate so much time to learn its rules and options.
A decent grand strategy game from Paradox and a must buy for any Japan fan. It's similar to Crusader Kings II. However, because of poor sales the game is abandoned by Paradox. It still has some bugs. For example the AI never agrees to make peace.
