As a new member of a community it is always a good idea to tell a little bit about yourself. Who you are, where you're from, what you do for a living etc etc... This gives the persons reading your posts some insights into who you are, and why you do as you do. An introduction doesn't have to be complicated at all. "Hey my name is John Doe, I live in SmallTown in Somewhere. I work with programming and I love gaming." Just to make a small example. And remember: This is your foot in the door. Don't come off like a snotty smart mouth, because nobody likes that! |
