Rome: The Lost Legacy is a fantasy spin on the history of Rome- a legion far from the Imperial City unknowingly marches into another realm, finding themselves in a struggle to preserve their culture and heritage in a foreign land. With great peril, these settlers must unite a land under their supreme commander and pave the way for a future empire.

What sorts of features should I look forward to in the first BETA?
The following features are planned for the initial BETA. Completed parts are crossed off.

  • Tutorial Level
  • 1-2 Campaigns
  • Building, training, researching, gathering mechanics
  • Native mouse support (001 is by default a keyboard-based engine)
  • Selection and Movement
  • Fog of War
  • Custom Music
  • Sounds for movement, gathering, combat, etc. including voices
  • Game Setup screen
  • Custom interfaces including a full featured Main Menu with save/load and credits options

When will this be available?
There is no set delivery date for the BETA, although it is expected to take at least 1-2 months (so March or April) to develop. This is a solo project, so things take a while.
