Roma: The Lost Legacy is a 2.5D RTS-style game set roughly in antiquity in a fantasy setting, inspired by history. The basic gameplay mechanics are done by mouse, although an alternate keyboard-mouse mixed input set is available. Menus are operated via mouse control, as well as building, moving, and manipulating of the map. The game is roughly comparable in controls to other popular RTS.

The basis for the game:
A legion of Roman soldiers are out marching in a distant forest, when without their awareness, the forest slowly begins to change. They enter into another time and another place; one much like earth, but yet culturally different. Here the legion finds itself on a route to power, building and transforming the cultures they encounter and forging an empire... the lost legacy of their own homeland reborn.

So what sets Roma apart?
Roma is one of the few RTS that combines history and fantasy into something completely new. Follow the fictional campaigns of the legion through unique landscapes and situations. In addition, the game is also designed to be compact, trading overly extensiveness with a limited yet engaging storyline and gameplay. This game is being built entirely from scratch with the exception of the engine. Sounds, music, graphics, art, interfaces, and story are all original. As a solo project, it is a large undertaking, but I hope to be able to finish this in good time.
