No one can ascertain the current Earth year (or if there is still Earth at all), so we start the count from Vostorg-7 year 0. This year marked the arrival of a joint Russian-Chinese colonization probe on Vostorg-7, a probe dispatched a very long time ago - in the early 21st century of Earth. After a long interstellar odyssey, it finally reached the unforgiving yet potentially habitable planet. The initial dreams of forging a unified spaceborne human nation were soon abandoned, as differing visions for utopian societies took root. Instead, seven independent human colonies emerged from the cosmic dust. While most of these colonies succumbed to rapid deterioration, with their inhabitants mutating into otherworldly beings or descending into feral lifestyles amidst Vostorg-7's unforgiving terrain, two colonies stood out as bastions of Man’s determination - the Derzhava and the Planet Cult.

Description

Scythians serve the Intermarium in spearheading fast attack raids and providing a quick and effective method of causing havoc to isolated enemy units and utility vehicles. Despite falling under the classification of a light tank the Scythians armament can vary wildly. The most widely seen model however sports a 90mm main gun that is capable of effectively tackling the majority of similarly armoured threats. When amassed in groups these nimble raiders can even pose a problem for heavier combat vehicles, whittling them down with a rapid volley of cannon fire.
Scythian crews are known to have a bit of a reputation for being gearheads and it is not uncommon, if not almost tradition, for them to customise and tweak their tank using miscellaneous trinkets and parts salvaged from the battlefield. It is not uncommon to see Scythians sporting random parts from civilian vehicles, custom paint work and extra little chassis addons from other vehicles they have knocked out in combat. One crew was even reported to have affixed the underglow neon lights of an illegal street race car to the skirts of their tank.
However the seemingly mish mash of odd parts belie its rugged reliability, and for all its seemingly random design features it has nonetheless proven itself a dangerous opponent to those who would foolishly dismiss it as a non threat.
