And, finally, the new trailer hotness to go with it all. The audio you'll hear - music and sound ambience - are thanks to our new audio collaborator Alistair Lindsay. Alistair is the audio genius behind Defcon and Prison Architect, so I'm really excited to have him on RimWorld. Alistair is an emotion-focused audio designer. He doens't just consider what something sounds like - he tried to figure out how to make it transmit the right emotional resonance to players. It's all subliminal, and his sounds make a huge difference to the texture of the experience, even when you don't notice them.
In other news, we recently passed 1000 posts in our forums, a nice milestone for the burgeoning community.

this looks really nice. I've always been a huge fan of DF, and I've always wanted a more fluid game of that genre. The characters and critters I'm no fan of. They don't really fit the overall style in my opinion - they are very newgrounds'y in a way.
