Return 2 Games is a series of unique mid-core games inspired by the golden days of PC gaming. There will be 7 games in total, each unique in terms of genre and theme, but all sharing the same grand vision. Each R2G title will be a tribute to a single hit game from the 90’s: a reimagining of a single universal story for a brand-new audience, using modern means and innovative gameplay mechanics.
While we can't reveal many details at this point, we promise that it will be awesome and worth your time. We know that many developers have pledged to bring back the spirit of PC gaming (retro games being one example), but we strongly believe our unique approach will make R2G one of the deepest and most engaging gaming experiences you had in the last few years.
Hello IndieDB community,
We’re Thing Trunk, an indie studio based in Warsaw, Poland. The core team comprises of 5 dedicated developers and a network of talented collaborators scattered around the world.
For the past 3 years, we were quietly working on Return 2 Games – a series of mid-core games inspired by the golden days of PC gaming. There will be 7 games in total, each unique in terms of genre and theme, but all sharing the same vision. Each R2G title will be a tribute to a single hit game from the 90’s – a reimagining of a single universal story for a brand-new audience, using modern means and innovative gameplay mechanics.
Our first teaser contains hints about the themes of first two games in the series and about the visual style developed exclusively for the R2G : )
Along with the teaser, we have launched its Sneak-Peek program. Everyone who subscribes now will get a chance to preview the games and influence their development before their official release.
Sneak-Peek Site
If you’re interested in the project, check out our teaser website (that includes a FAQ), which we prepared for that occasion: Return2Games.com
We’d love to hear from you, what your first impressions are.
Best regards,
Stanislaw
