Restless Depths is a 2D single player run & gun game with multiple paths to completion and an emphasis on moral choice which is reflected in the gameplay. Set in a fictional African country the aim of the game is to escape your life as a child soldier. Along the way you have the option to rescue others by exorcising their demons (manifestations of the fear, confusion, anger and brainwashing that they have been subjected to). You also have the option to take vengeance on your abductors. Maintaining your physical and spiritual health is another facet of the game and one that will play a crucial role as the game progresses as well as influencing how it ends. If you die it is game over and you will have to begin again with replayability in randomised elements, secrets, and the multiple ways of actually playing.
