Pokémon3D is a recreation of the old Pokémon games Gold/Silver by Nintendo/GameFreak (but, of course this game has nothing to do with them ;) You're the hero of the game, and as usual, you want to be the best Pokémon trainer of all time. So let's go, visit some grass and catch, battle and defeat wild Pokémon, explore towns and routes in 3D, collect items and Pokémon, play with a friend in LAN co-op and much more. The game is currently under development and features are added frequently.

While everyone else suggests technically reasonable additions, I want to throw this out there - since we already have (kinda) multiplayer abilities, is there any plan to have a server that people can connect to and play/trade/run around with each other on? That's been my dream since like, 3rd grade man. And I'm 20 now. Of course a few rules (such as server size/capacity) would need to be set for that sort of thing, I just want to know if it's on the table as something you want to do. Would be pretty badass. |

Ooh yes, this would be cool. YOu have to work in double and triple battles into the formula though |

Good question dude, I'm going to test it out now. Just gotta put framework on my other PC. Double and triple battles would be amazeballs. Could add like a simple party/team up system. |

exactly! But you would have to program trainers to recognize triple or double battles and have appropriate teams for them. |

Working on this on my C# ported version of the game (making a global trading area as well ) |

what are you talking about the game is already written in c# using the XNA framework, there is no need to port anything... Edited by: cashmoney88 |

@CharlieH, there's a game called PokeMMO that you might like. it's an Emulator of Fire Red/Leaf Green, and they literally have everything but the double and triple battles. although, it's 2D, so it doesn't even COMPARE to this game xD but i think you'd like it from what your saying |

there are a lot of Pokemon MMO, I think pokemon 3D need to be like another version of pokemon, with multiplayer capacity but not MMO, it would destroy the escense of the game. |

Yes, but if it would have to become an Online Game, it would need to be a seperate game from this one... And if it would become online, the rached unfair-players who be a freaking pain! |

We shouldn't worry about that in the early versions of the game yet |

In no way this will become like WoW... However I do believe that you should be able to set up a server and have your friends or a small community join in on your game. Depends on what your definition of MMO is... I like the idea of having some people you know join you. I dislike that lonely atmosphere. You always have the option to play alone however I don't think it should be ruled out that we can't set up our own servers like Minecraft can. The game closely resembles it too even though they are written in different code. |

Actually, theres not really any good Pokemon MMO Games. I kinda was hoping you could search for a person to co op with, Even if its somebody you dont know. Because my Friends dont really play Videogames, I feel kinda Lonely when i play by myself. |
