We saw many people try to download the game and finally give up after seeing the game tooks 8GB.
So to resolve the problem we are working on optimization, by reducing the game size on the hard disk.
We hope to remove 5 GB of unused files in our project.
The game use a lot of pack of assets and often 80% of them aren't used yet. It takes time to filter them. When the Unreal version was released it was a rush, we didn't pay attention of the hard disk consumption, but now we can so let's go. :)
A big patch will be released with our launcher system, probably 2GB
In addition we want to reduce the bandwidth consumption of IndieDB, so the preinstalled game will very small in next days or weeks.
