Pixelry Champions

News 14 comments

Good morrow!

Today we launched Pixelry Champions over on Kickstarter and we need all the support we can get. So please spread the word and pledge whatever you can!

Now I know what you're thinking and here's the answer: You will get Pixelry Champions for free because you purchased Pixelry during its alphafunding phase. And thank you so much for that!

But we want to make Pixelry Champions the best game it can be and for that we do need the funding. So for a better game please tell everyone you know!

Another thing to note is that you won't get Pixelry Champions if you purchase Pixelry Classic on Desura from this date forward. The only way to get your hands on Pixelry Champions is to pledge an amount over on Kickstarter.

Once again, thanks for you support! We can't wait to get Pixelry Champions in your hands.

Looks like the devs of the unfinished games Super Tower Rush and Pixelry have started to pitch another game: Indiegogo.com

It looks like they've moved on and left this to the dust.

Given that the new project was funded and made it through Greenlight, and Pixelry managed neither, that seems a somewhat reasonable thing for them to do. Maybe they'll open source it so someone else can tinker with it if they want to.

The problem is that they sold this as an alpha, promised development, and then later declared they were stopping development and just made this 'Pixelry Classic' instead of alpha. Sure it makes sense for them businesswise, but it kinda screwed over the alpha funders.

I can't really disagree with you, and I suppose if I had paid more than a dollar for it I might be more put off, and I'm certainly disappointed there's not going to be more, I really enjoyed it for a couple of days and got more than my money's worth. But just like with Kickstarter, the earlier and earlier people get involved in development and put out their money, the more often they are going to be let down.

Yeah. I'm also wondering what will now happen with the two unfinished games. I don't think that they habe time to work on 3 games at the same time.

It's possible to run it under WINE, maybe we will release a linux version when we got the chance of getting a GMS copy.

Hasn't been any updates on this great game in awhile... Is this still being devoloped, or is it over with? Hoping that the devs have just been busy.

I'm guessing that the dev decided to scrap this project (although not officially) because the kickstarter failed. If so, it sucks for us alpha backers but the devs are pretty young (bio said early 20's) so I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to move on to other projects and have this low in their priority list.

Request add a way to lower the sound from the main page, its way to loud.
